Validate and send Snapchat Conversions API events
Snapchat has a separate validation endpoint, so you can check a request before anything is recorded. Enter the Snap Pixel ID and a Conversions API token, tick Test mode to validate, then untick it to send live events to CAPI v3.

What does Way2 Pixel send to Snapchat?
Way2 Pixel (Pixel Activator) calls tr.snapchat.com/v3/{pixel_id}/events for a live send, or tr.snapchat.com/v3/{pixel_id}/events/validate when Test mode is on. The CAPI token is passed as the access_token query parameter; it is used for that call and never saved by us.
Snapchat event names are uppercase with underscores, such as PAGE_VIEW, ADD_CART or SIGN_UP, and the event list in the form already uses them.

Events marked $1 are sent with an amount of 1 USD. You can also add one custom event name: letters, digits and underscore, up to 50 characters.
How does Snapchat test mode work?
There is no test code for Snapchat. The Test mode checkbox switches the request to the /events/validate endpoint: Snapchat checks the payload and replies with a status, but the events are not recorded.
A reply of VALID means the request would be accepted; VALID_WITH_WARNINGS means it would be accepted, but Snapchat lists fields worth fixing. When validation is clean, untick Test mode and send once more to record real events.
Where do I see the result for Snapchat?
- In validation mode, read the status and any warnings in the response under the form — this is the whole result, nothing reaches Ads Manager.
- For a live send, a success status in the response means Snapchat took the batch.
- Open Snapchat Ads Manager, go to Events Manager and select the same Pixel to see incoming server events and diagnostics.
- Fix the first warning before adding more events, so each change is easy to trace.
Which Snapchat ID and token do I need?
Use the Pixel ID of the web pixel, not a Snap App ID. The token is a long-lived Conversions API token created in Business Details > OAuth Apps > Conversions API Tokens.
